7 Designers show you how to work flats for those long nightouts
Fashion weeks are always associated with high heel shoes but this time the Spring/Summer'15 collection we saw sport shoes and comfy flats dominating the catwalk.
Earlier this month Chanel Fall 2015 show in Paris too made waves with comfortable two-toned sling-back shoes. From point toe flats, high-top sneakers to metallic platforms they all screamed comfort on the runway this season at Lakme Fashion Week.
This young designer was no exception as she color-coordinated the garment with a pair of mint platforms for her recent spring/summer'15 collection. Who won't opt for flats if you have something as pretty as these.
We are lusting over the golden metallic slip-on platforms that we spotted at Armaan Aiman's show. A perfect footwear to take you from day to night.
No matter what the season be black never leaves you. So this spring/summer is no exception. Asmita Marwah brought the masculine inspired shoes back on the runway making it to our must have list this season.
Playing with a sporty theme on the runway was Huemn giving us a very sporty vibe. Colours being the main accent we saw a range of high top- sneakers to trainers in beige, hot pinks and blacks. Yes, the famous Burberry Prorsum Cara Delevingne shoes can be your pick this spring.
Designer Karishma Shahani Khan also exhibited her handwoven spring/summer 2015 footwear collection at the fashion week. The oxfords are here to stay if we were to go by the designer.
Though her collection was feminine and delicate the choice of footwear was just the opposite for the designer. Like us Kalki Koechlin seems equally happy about the metallic sneakers, "I am so thankful to Nishka for giving me flats to walk on the runway" says Kalki.
Keeping denim as her focus Anjali's 'Verandha' collection at LFW had matching platforms to go with it. A perfect choice of footwear for languid summers with metallic detailing in soft blue hues.
