7 Tips to get rid of dark circles
Stress is one of the main reasons for dark circles.
1) Avoid Stress
Stress is one of the main reasons for dark circles. Join yoga or any form of activity which keeps your mind engaged .Yoga increases blood circulation which helps reduce dark circles.
2) Give your eyes rest from TV and Computer
Late night TV’s and working on computer for hours in a stretch causes dark circles. If your job requires you to sit on the computer for long then remember to take 10-15 minutes break in between and splash some water on your eyes.Try closing your eyes for sometime.
3) Avoid direct exposure to sun
Under eye is one of the most sensitive area of the face .Due to a very thin layer skin it tends to get darkened easily by sun.Use a sunscreen and wear a good pair of sunglasses while you step out in the sun.
4) Drink plenty of water
According to doctors one should drink atleast 6-8 liters of water everyday. Water flushes out the toxins in your body and keeps it fresh and prevents from dark circles.
5) Keep a pillow under your head
Sleeping with a pillow under your head, helps prevent fluid accumulation under the eyes.These fluid makes the dark circles look more prominent.
6) Avoid smoking
Smoking is something which turns your lips darker along with dark circles. As bad as it is internally for your lungs it causes that much damage externally to your lips and dark circles too.
7) Lower your salt intake
Too much of salt intake is definitely a No...No! Our body retains a lot of fluid when the salt intake is high thus causing puffy eyes and dark circles.
