6 times bloggers used food as makeup products
What do a snickers bar, bronzer and corn flour have in common? Nothing you'd imagine but that's where you are wrong. The #FullFaceOfFoodChallenge uses food products as makeup and is trending in the beauty sphere so these are 6 of the most whimsical tutorials.
Starting the bizarre trend was blogger Raychel Newton. She filled in her brows with cocoa powder, primed her lids with honey and glued coconut husk as falsies. Next level stuff? You betcha!
Chinese YouTuber Ms Yeah who is also known as 'The Office Chef' accepted the challenge and ran with it. Along with melted Skittles as eye shadow and tomato sauce as lip colour, she even dabbed in her base with a marshmallow!
British YouTuber Roxxsaurus didn't save the sweet stuff for a post dinner treat. Instead, she used a muffin as a makeup sponge, a banana to sculpt her cheeks and a peach to dot on her blush!
YouTuber Natalies Outlet gave the trend a comical take with her numerous attempts to find her right shade using cocoa powder and cinnamon. She topped it off with a berry mash as a lip and cheek tint.
Radio presenter and Instagram celebrity Kate Lawler took on the challenge as well with turmeric as a sunshine yellow eye shadow, beets as a lip colour and chilli powder as a cheek blusher.
Popular YouTuber Promise Tamang went one step further for even coverage with a mix of peanut butter, flour and oil. She also used coffee grounds for her brows and dark cocoa for a sharp contour.
