60s beauty epistle from Paris
We have a feeling that the Paris fashion week is heavily inspired by the 6os. Dark and sultry eyes – with long lashes – paired with toned down lips.
The eyes are dramatically made up with black gel liner smeared across the eyelids and upto the brow bone emitting a dark aura; with an otherwise bare face and nude lips.
The 60s favourite, long and fluttery lashes seemed to have made a comeback here. The lower lashes are drawn with a black eyeliner, mimicking the 60s effect – only they have been elongated for a sensational appeal. The lips are kept a soft pink, so that they don’t take away the focus from the eyes.
Talk about gothic smoky eyes. The upper and lower rims of the eyes have been filled with black eye pencil and then smudged to create a smoky and a sultry effect, with long lashes casting a shadow. With a fresh and clean face, otherwise.
Remember the tight-lining with the white eye pencil? Well, it is back. Here the lower rims of the eyes are lined with a white eye pencil and the black liner forms dramatic lines in the brow bone and on the lower lash line, the lips are kept luscious and supple to complete the look.
A soft smoky eye is created with black eye shadow being smeared on the eyelids and smudged lightly to create an adhering and sensuous effect; with an otherwise natural look – with soft and glowing skin – and tawny lips.
