The most iconic beauty moments of Prince
Pop icon Prince, one of the few stars who managed to find a balance between being an iconic entertainer and being reclusive, passed away at his Paisley Park home. Apart from giving us hit tracks such as, ‘When Doves Cry’ and ‘Let's Go Crazy,’ and more, he brought us many beauty lessons.
Let’s look at some of his most androgynous moments:
Pink: Prince wore the colour pink when men were only thinking in shades of grey and blue. In February 1985 he wore a pink fur over a bell sleeve jacket. Then on his fascination with pink only grew to a fushica pink suit and a dark almost red jacket.
Brocade suit: Move over young hippy girls, Prince was innovative and bold in his style. His brocade pant suit became a rage in the 80s. With pink shoes and a black and gold hat, Prince was always ready to jump on stage for a performance.
Bow Blouse: Prince wore a pussy bow blouse and a simple hoop earring in 1988 and the fashion world got a new trend to follow. Of course the bold embraced this polka dotted look, while the fearful shyed away.
Hairstyles: From finger waves, bangs to curls, Prince tried it all on his hair. We wonder how many years of inspiration has he left behind for fashionistas?
Winged eyeliner: It is rumored that the singing sensation was teased by Diana Ross about how perfect his winged look was.
